TEXAS (XFINITY) post-race
No. 1 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro
- McMurray made his second NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start of 2018 on Saturday. His last start came in March at Phoenix.
- The seventh place finish was McMurray’s 70th career top-10 finish in the NXS.
- Despite spinning early and having to restart in the rear of the field, McMurray drove through the pack to his second NXS top-10 finish in as many starts this season.
- The lead changed 11 times among nine drivers and the race had eight caution flags for 42 laps.
“Our car was really good in turns one and two today, but we just couldn’t get it to go through three and four as well. The guys made some good adjustments to get us better all day, especially after spinning out early and having to recover the track position after that. I had a lot of fun in the Xfinity car again today and look forward to being back in the DC Solar Camaro again in Charlotte.”
