McMurray has 28 previous MENCS start at NHMS in which he has led 32 laps and completed 7,986 of 8,380 (95.3%) circuits around the “Magic Mile.” He has an average start of 19 and average finish of 19.9, including seven top-10 and four top-five finishes.

Following his seventh-place finish last weekend at Kentucky Speedway, McMurray moved up to sixth in the MENCS driver point standings. He is just 15 points removed from being in the top-five and the highest that he has ever been in the point standings after 18 races.

“New Hampshire (Motor Speedway) is a challenging track. The corners being very flat makes it difficult to pass, so track position is important. The car is really on the edge in the corners, so it is easy to slip up the track, or get collected if someone else does. Seems like we have gone back-and-forth on our finishes there. We have been top-10 in three of the last four races leading up to this weekend, so it will be nice to try and keep that string of good finishes going.”
