This weekend will be Jamie McMurray’s 29th career MENCS start at Pocono Raceway. In 28 previous starts he has led 21 laps and completed 4,922 of 5,030 (97.7%) circuits around the “Tricky Triangle.” He has an average start of 16.9 and average finish of 19.1 and has scored seven top-10 finishes.
Following his eighth top-10 finish of the 2017 MENCS season last weekend at Dover International Speedway, McMurray currently sits fifth in the series point standings, the highest that he has ever been after 13 races into the season.
