No. 1 Cessna Chevrolet

Jamie McMurray will make his 30th MENCS start at MIS this weekend. In 29 previous starts he has completed 5,526 of 5,677 (97.3%) laps and has led 40 circuits around the D-Shaped oval. He has an average start of 22.2 and average finish of 17.4. McMurray also has eight top-10 and two top-five finishes at MIS; he has finished in the top-10 four of the last five races.

McMurray’s teammate, Kyle Larson, may be hoping that the driver of the No. 1 Textron Off-Road Chevy will qualify eighth this weekend. The last two races at MIS, McMurray has qualified eighth and Larson has gone-on to claim the checkered flag, including his first series win last August.
