Foxwoods Casino Resorts 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway: Post-Race
No. 1 McDonald’s Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
Start: 22nd
Finish: 18th
Standings: 22nd (70 points behind 16th; final playoff spot)

  • The start of today’s race was delayed by rain for more than three hours, the caution flag was shown seven times for a total of 31 laps, and the lead changed 10 times among seven drivers.
  • McMurray was able to finish on the lead lap after getting one lap down to the leaders after halfway through the race, but was able to take the wave-around on a late-race caution with less than 50 laps to go.

McMurray on Foxwoods Casino Resorts 301:

“Our McDonald’s Chevy was somewhat inconsistent today. We got the car pretty good during the middle of the race, but we just weren’t able to get any track position. The biggest challenge that we had was lacking overall grip as the race came down to the end today. I’m super glad that we were actually able to get the race in today for all the fans that waited out the long delay.”

MENCS teams will head to Pocono Raceway next week for the Gander Outdoors 400 on Sunday, Jul. 29. NBC Sports, MRN affiliates and SiriusXM NASCAR Channel 90 will have live coverage beginning at 2:30pm ET
