Quaker State 400 – Kentucky Speedway: Post-Race
No. 1 Arctic Cat Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
Start: 22nd
Finish: 17th
Standings: 21st (82 points behind 16th; final playoff spot)

Notes:

  • McMurray and the No. 1 team had an up-and-down day in Kentucky, after starting 22nd, they raced into the top-10 early in the race, and fell back outside of the top-20 later. McMurray brought his Arctic Cat Chevy home in the 17th position.
  • The race was slowed by four cautions for a total of 22 laps, and the lead changed 14 times among seven drivers.

“We started the night with a really fast race car. We were working our way to the front and our Arctic Cat Camaro was pretty good on the longer runs. After the first couple of pit stops, the car seemed really inconsistent going from loose to tight and the simplest of adjustments seemed drastic. The guys did a nice job of trying to keep up with the changing track, but not a enough to make it back to the front in the end.”
