No. 1 Bass Pro Shops/National Wild Turkey Federation Chevrolet SS
Jamie McMurray will make his 29th Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend, where he has recorded three top-five and 11 top-10 finishes. He’s led a total of 179 laps and completed 13,713 of 14,027 (97.8%) possible laps in those races. His average finish is 16.5 with only one DNF.
The No. 1 Chevrolet SS will feature the Bass Pro Shops/National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) livery this weekend, to celebrate the national non-profit organization that is dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of America’s hunting heritage. McMurray has driven the Bass Pro Shops/NWTF scheme on six previous occasions including his win in the 2014 All-Star Race.
“Bristol is such a fun track and I can’t think of a better place for Bass Pro Shops to have the NWTF car,” said McMurray. “There are a lot of passionate race fans and outdoorsmen in that area. Bass Pro Shops is also the sponsor of the Bristol Night Race in August, so both Bristol races this season are going to be really special.”
